She has sent out her servants, and she calls from the highest point of the city,

The Lord gave the word; Great was the company of those who proclaimed it:

Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice?She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, Beside the way, where the paths meet.She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors:

Wisdom calls aloud outside; She raises her voice in the open squares.She cries out in the chief concourses, At the openings of the gates in the city She speaks her words:“ How long, you simple ones, will you love simplicity? For scorners delight in their scorning, And fools hate knowledge.Turn at my rebuke; Surely I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.

So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant,‘ Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor and the maimed and the lame and the blind.’And the servant said,‘ Master, it is done as you commanded, and still there is room.’Then the master said to the servant,‘ Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited,‘ Come, for all things are now ready.’

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying,“ If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.

Therefore the wisdom of God also said,‘ I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and persecute,’

and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.Again, he sent out other servants, saying,‘ Tell those who are invited,“ See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’

Jesus answered him,“ I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing.

And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’
