She has sent out her servants, and she calls from the highest point of the city,

She has sent her servants to invite everyone to come. She calls out from the heights overlooking the city.

She sits at the doorway of her house, On a seat by the high places of the city,

The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim good news are a great army:

Does not wisdom call, And understanding raise her voice?On top of the heights beside the way, Where the paths meet, she takes her stand;Beside the gates, at the opening to the city, At the entrance of the doors, she cries out:

Wisdom shouts in the street, She raises her voice in the public square;At the head of the noisy streets she cries out; At the entrance of the gates in the city she declares her sayings:“ How long, you naive ones, will you love simplistic thinking? And how long will scoffers delight themselves in scoffing And fools hate knowledge?Turn to my rebuke, Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you; I will make my words known to you.

And the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the head of the household became angry and said to his slave,‘ Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here those who are poor, those with disabilities, those who are blind, and those who are limping.’And later the slave said,‘ Master, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.’And the master said to the slave,‘ Go out into the roads and the hedges and press upon them to come in, so that my house will be filled.

and at the dinner hour he sent his slave to tell those who had been invited,‘ Come, because everything is ready now.’

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.

For this reason also, the wisdom of God said,‘ I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill, and some they will persecute,

And he sent his slaves to call those who had been invited to the wedding feast, and they were unwilling to come.Again he sent other slaves, saying,‘ Tell those who have been invited,“ Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fattened cattle are all butchered and everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast!” ’

Jesus answered him,“ I have spoken openly to the world; I always taught in synagogues and in the temple area, where all the Jews congregate; and I said nothing in secret.

But how are they to preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written:“ How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news of good things!”

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

So go to the main roads, and invite whomever you find there to the wedding feast.’
