To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech.

To have respect for the Lord is to hate evil. I hate pride and bragging. I hate evil ways and twisted words.

The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and perverted speech I hate.

All who fear the Lord will hate evil. Therefore, I hate pride and arrogance, corruption and perverse speech.

因忠愛與誠信、罪孽就得赦除；由於敬畏永恆主、人就免受禍患。

不要誇口說高傲的話，不要口出傲慢之言，因為永恆主是無所不知的上帝，人的行為都被他衡量。

你們年輕的、照樣要順服年長的。你們眾人、彼此相待、都要以謙卑為裝束；因為上帝敵擋狂傲的，賜恩給謙卑的人。

你要除掉邪曲的口，要遠棄乖僻的嘴。

要禁戒各式各樣的邪惡。

但上帝堅固的根基已經立定，有着以下這印記說：『主認識屬他的人』；『凡稱呼主名的人應當離開不義。』

卑鄙的事我都不擺在我眼前；背離退落的行為、我都恨惡，它決不會沾貼着我。

因此我依你一切訓令來調度自己；各樣虛假行徑我都恨惡。

無賴之人、奸惡之輩、出入往來用乖僻的口；

先狂傲、然後遭破毁；先有高傲之氣、然後就跌倒。

永恆主所恨的有六樣；連他心所厭惡的實有七樣：就是高傲的眼、虛假的舌頭、流無辜人之血的手、圖謀惡計的心、急速跑壞事的腳、噴吐謊言的假見證、在弟兄中散布紛爭的人。

藉着你的訓令、我得以明理；故此我恨惡各樣虛假的行徑。

要恨惡壞事，要喜愛良善，在城門口確立着公義，或者永恆主萬軍之上帝會向約瑟的餘民施恩。

愛要不裝假。惡要厭惡，善要親近。

因為你不是喜愛邪惡的上帝；壞人不能寄居在你那裏。狂傲之人不能在你眼前站着；作孽之人都是你所恨惡的。

誰都不可心裏圖謀壞事以害鄰舍，不可愛起假誓；因為這一切事我都恨惡：這是永恆主發神諭說的。』

永恆主雖高，仍垂看着卑微的人；至於驕傲的人、他卻從遠處就認出來。

義人的口結出智慧的果子；乖張的舌頭必被割斷。
