For wisdom is better than jewels, and nothing desirable can equal it.

for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.

The price of wisdom is beyond pearls.Topaz from Cush cannot compare with it, and it cannot be valued in pure gold.

More than that, I also consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have suffered the loss of all things and consider them as dung, so that I may gain Christand be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own from the law, but one that is through faith in Christ— the righteousness from God based on faith.

There is gold and a multitude of jewels, but knowledgeable lips are a rare treasure.

Get wisdom, get understanding; don’t forget or turn away from the words from my mouth.Don’t abandon wisdom, and she will watch over you; love her, and she will guard you.Wisdom is supreme— so get wisdom. And whatever else you get, get understanding.

Since I love your commands more than gold, even the purest gold,

For what will it benefit someone if he gains the whole world yet loses his life? Or what will anyone give in exchange for his life?
