My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you.

But he said to me,“ Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!” (niv)

He replied,“ Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.” (niv)

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, (niv)

Remember what I told you:‘ A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. (niv)

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, (niv)

The wise store up knowledge, but the mouth of a fool invites ruin. (niv)

But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop. (niv)

the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known. (niv)
