My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

Then he said to me,“ See that you do not do that. For I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God.”

But He said,“ More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!”

Jesus answered and said to him,“ If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.

Receive, please, instruction from His mouth, And lay up His words in your heart.

My son, if you receive my words, And treasure my commands within you,So that you incline your ear to wisdom, And apply your heart to understanding;Yes, if you cry out for discernment, And lift up your voice for understanding,If you seek her as silver, And search for her as for hidden treasures;Then you will understand the fear of the Lord, And find the knowledge of God.For the Lord gives wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;

Remember the word that I said to you,‘ A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.

My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands;

Wise people store up knowledge, But the mouth of the foolish is near destruction.

But the ones that fell on the good ground are those who, having heard the word with a noble and good heart, keep it and bear fruit with patience.

and the curse, if you do not obey the commandments of the Lord your God, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.
