My son, obey my words, and treasure my commands.

My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you.

Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction, and don’t reject your mother’s teaching,

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep what is written in it, because the time is near.

But he said to me,“ Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you, your brothers the prophets, and those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”

He said,“ Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it.”

Jesus answered,“ If anyone loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

Receive instruction from his mouth, and place his sayings in your heart.

My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,listening closely to wisdom and directing your heart to understanding;furthermore, if you call out to insight and lift your voice to understanding,if you seek it like silver and search for it like hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the LORD and discover the knowledge of God.For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.He stores up success for the upright; He is a shield for those who live with integrity

Remember the word I spoke to you:‘ A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.

My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commands;

The wise store up knowledge, but the mouth of the fool hastens destruction.

But the seed in the good ground— these are the ones who, having heard the word with an honest and good heart, hold on to it and by enduring, produce fruit.

and a curse, if you do not obey the commands of the LORD your God and you turn aside from the path I command you today by following other gods you have not known.
