与女人通奸的，缺乏心智；行这事的，毁灭自己。

與婦人行姦淫的，便是無知，做這事的，必毀了自己。

與婦人行姦淫的，便是無知，做這事的，必毀了自己。

至於跟婦人行淫的呢、卻是全無心思；行這事的，乃是毁滅自己。

淫人妻者、乃乏知識、凡行此者、必喪己命、

淫人妻者、必無智慧、己之生命、因以喪亡。

淫人妻者甚為無知、行此者必喪己命、

He that committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He doeth it who would destroy his own soul.

[ But] whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he[ that] doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

A man who commits adultery with a woman lacks wisdom, whoever does it destroys his own life.

I saw some naive young men, and one in particular who lacked common sense.

Entering her house leads to death; it is the road to the grave.The man who visits her is doomed. He will never reach the paths of life.

Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools.And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired. As a result, they did vile and degrading things with each other’s bodies.

I searched everywhere, determined to find wisdom and to understand the reason for things. I was determined to prove to myself that wickedness is stupid and that foolishness is madness.I discovered that a seductive woman is a trap more bitter than death. Her passion is a snare, and her soft hands are chains. Those who are pleasing to God will escape her, but sinners will be caught in her snare.

“ You are about to be destroyed, O Israel— yes, by me, your only helper.

“ Come in with me,” she urges the simple. To those who lack good judgment, she says,“ Stolen water is refreshing; food eaten in secret tastes the best!”But little do they know that the dead are there. Her guests are in the depths of the grave.

to worship other gods.“ Wine has robbed my people of their understanding.They ask a piece of wood for advice! They think a stick can tell them the future! Longing after idols has made them foolish. They have played the prostitute, serving other gods and deserting their God.

An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him.He will die for lack of self control; he will be lost because of his great foolishness.

They are well fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for his neighbor’s wife.

But those who miss me injure themselves. All who hate me love death.”
