与妇人行淫的，便是无知；行这事的，必丧掉生命。

与妇人行奸淫的，便是无知，做这事的，必毁了自己。

与妇人行奸淫的，便是无知，做这事的，必毁了自己。

和有夫之妇通奸的，实在愚不可及，他是自寻死路。

和妇人通奸的，实在无知；行这事的，是自我毁灭。

与女人通奸的，缺乏心智；行这事的，毁灭自己。

與婦人行淫的，便是無知；行這事的，必喪掉生命。

與婦人行姦淫的，便是無知，做這事的，必毀了自己。

與婦人行姦淫的，便是無知，做這事的，必毀了自己。

和有夫之婦通姦的，實在愚不可及，他是自尋死路。

和婦人通姦的，實在無知；行這事的，是自我毀滅。

至於跟婦人行淫的呢、卻是全無心思；行這事的，乃是毁滅自己。

與女人通姦的，缺乏心智；行這事的，毀滅自己。

淫人妻者、乃乏知識、凡行此者、必喪己命、

淫人妻者、必無智慧、己之生命、因以喪亡。

淫人妻者甚為無知、行此者必喪己命、

But a man who commits adultery has no sense; whoever does so destroys himself.

A man who commits adultery has no sense. Anyone who does it destroys himself.

He who commits adultery lacks sense; he who does it destroys himself.

But the man who commits adultery is an utter fool, for he destroys himself.

One who commits adultery with a woman is lacking sense; He who would destroy himself commits it.

Whoever commits adultery with a woman lacks understanding; He who does so destroys his own soul.

He that committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding: He doeth it who would destroy his own soul.

The one who commits adultery lacks sense; whoever does so destroys himself.

[ But] whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he[ that] doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

A man who commits adultery with a woman lacks wisdom, whoever does it destroys his own life.

He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul.

I saw among the inexperienced, I noticed among the youths, a young man lacking sense.

So Pharaoh said to Joseph,“ Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you are.

Do not commit adultery.

Marriage is to be honored by all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, because God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.

No one in this house is greater than I am. He has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. So how could I do this immense evil, and how could I sin against God?”Although she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her.

Hear this, you foolish and senseless people. They have eyes, but they don’t see. They have ears, but they don’t hear.

He follows her impulsively like an ox going to the slaughter, like a deer bounding toward a trapuntil an arrow pierces its liver, like a bird darting into a snare— he doesn’t know it will cost him his life.

for her house sinks down to death and her ways to the land of the departed spirits.None return who go to her; none reach the paths of life.

Claiming to be wise, they became foolsand exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man, birds, four-footed animals, and reptiles.Therefore God delivered them over in the desires of their hearts to sexual impurity, so that their bodies were degraded among themselves.

I turned my thoughts to know, explore, and examine wisdom and an explanation for things, and to know that wickedness is stupidity and folly is madness.And I find more bitter than death the woman who is a trap: her heart a net and her hands chains. The one who pleases God will escape her, but the sinner will be captured by her.

I will destroy you, Israel; you have no help but me.

“ Whoever is inexperienced, enter here!” To the one who lacks sense, she says,“ Stolen water is sweet, and bread eaten secretly is tasty!”But he doesn’t know that the departed spirits are there, that her guests are in the depths of Sheol.

“ Whoever is inexperienced, enter here!” To the one who lacks sense, she says,

Throw off all the transgressions you have committed, and get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. Why should you die, house of Israel?

Promiscuity, wine, and new wine take away one’s understanding.My people consult their wooden idols, and their divining rods inform them. For a spirit of promiscuity leads them astray; they act promiscuously in disobedience to their God.

A wicked man’s iniquities will trap him; he will become tangled in the ropes of his own sin.He will die because there is no discipline, and be lost because of his great stupidity.

They are well-fed, eager stallions, each neighing after someone else’s wife.

but the one who misses me harms himself; all who hate me love death.”
