要知道，为了妓女，人会卑贱如一块饼；而通奸的女人，会猎取宝贵的性命。

人因妓女之故、僅餘片餅、淫婦獵取寶貴之命、

饅首一角、即可招妓、淫人之妻、則喪生命。

妓女能使人窮乏、僅賸一餅、淫婦索人之寶貴生命、

For a prostitute can be had for a loaf of bread, but another man’s wife preys on your very life.

A prostitute can be bought for only a loaf of bread. But another man’s wife hunts your very life.

for the price of a prostitute is only a loaf of bread, but a married woman hunts down a precious life.

For a prostitute will bring you to poverty, but sleeping with another man’s wife will cost you your life.

For by means of a harlot A man is reduced to a crust of bread; And an adulteress will prey upon his precious life.

爱慕智慧的，使父亲喜乐；结交妓女的，却浪费钱财。

但你这个儿子和娼妓吃光了你的财产，他一回来，你倒为他宰了肥牛犊。’

免得陌生人满得你的财富，你劳苦所得的归入外邦人的家。

你家所剩下的人都必来叩拜他，求一块银子，一个饼，说：求你给我一个祭司的职分，好使我得点饼吃。’”

所以主耶和华如此说：“因你们说的是虚假，见的是谎诈，所以，看哪，我要敌对你们。这是主耶和华说的。

过了不多几天，小儿子把他一切所有的都收拾起来，往远方去了。在那里，他任意放荡，浪费钱财。他耗尽了一切所有的，又恰逢那地方有大饥荒，就穷困起来。于是他去投靠当地的一个居民，那人打发他到田里去放猪。

傲慢人煽动全城；智慧人止息众怒。

说，主耶和华如此说：‘这些妇女有祸了！她们为众人的手腕缝驱邪带，替身材高矮不同的人做头巾，为要猎取人的性命。难道你们要猎取我百姓的性命，使自己存活吗？

直到箭穿进他的肝，如同雀鸟急投罗网，却不知会赔上自己的生命。

就叫了家里的人来，对他们说：“看，他带了一个希伯来人到我们这里戏弄我们。他到我这里来，要与我同寝，我就大声喊叫。
