要知道，为了妓女，人会卑贱如一块饼；而通奸的女人，会猎取宝贵的性命。

饅首一角、即可招妓、淫人之妻、則喪生命。

妓女能使人窮乏、僅賸一餅、淫婦索人之寶貴生命、

所以主耶和華如此說：「因你們說的是虛假，見的是謊詐，所以，看哪，我要敵對你們。這是主耶和華說的。

過了不多幾天，小兒子把他一切所有的都收拾起來，往遠方去了。在那裏，他任意放蕩，浪費錢財。他耗盡了一切所有的，又恰逢那地方有大饑荒，就窮困起來。於是他去投靠當地的一個居民，那人打發他到田裏去放豬。

傲慢人煽動全城；智慧人止息眾怒。

說，主耶和華如此說：『這些婦女有禍了！她們為眾人的手腕縫驅邪帶，替身材高矮不同的人做頭巾，為要獵取人的性命。難道你們要獵取我百姓的性命，使自己存活嗎？

直到箭穿進他的肝，如同雀鳥急投羅網，卻不知會賠上自己的生命。

就叫了家裏的人來，對他們說：「看，他帶了一個希伯來人到我們這裏戲弄我們。他到我這裏來，要與我同寢，我就大聲喊叫。
