因此主永恆主這麼說：『因為你們說的是虛謊，見的是謊詐，那麼你就看吧，我是跟你們作對的：主永恆主發神諭說。

過了不多幾日，那小兒子就收集一切，出外往遼遠地區去了；在那裏揮霍資產，浪費地生活。既耗盡了他的一切，沿那地區又發生了很厲害的饑荒，他就窮乏起來。於是他去投靠那地區的一個公民；那人打發他到田地裏去餵豬。

褻慢人噴吐怒火於城中；智慧人卻止息眾怒。

說：主永恆主這麼說：這些婦女有禍啊，她們給眾人的手腕綁上邪術帶，給各樣身材的頭作長帕子，為要獵取人的性命！難道你們要獵取我人民的性命，而為了利己將別人救活麼？

如同鳥兒急入機檻，卻不知那會要了牠的命；等到有箭穿進牠的肝兒，卻已遲了。

就把家裏的人叫來，對他們說：『你們看，他帶一個希伯來人進我們這裏來，要調戲我們。他進來找我，要和我同寢；我大聲喊叫。
