惟彼淫婦、脣如滴蜜、口滑於油、

惟彼淫婦、甘言如滴蜜、巧言若凝脂。

淫婦甘言如滴蜜、其口較油更滑、

For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil;

A woman who commits adultery has lips that drip honey. What she says is smoother than olive oil.

For the lips of a forbidden woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil,

Though the lips of the forbidden woman drip honey and her words are smoother than oil,

For the lips of an adulteress drip honey, And her speech is smoother than oil;

For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil;

For the lips of a strange woman drop honey, And her mouth is smoother than oil:

Though the lips of the forbidden woman drip honey and her words are smoother than oil,

For the lips of a strange woman drop[ as] an honeycomb, and her mouth[ is] smoother than oil:

For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her seductive words are smoother than olive oil,

For the lips of an adulteress drip honey. Her mouth is smoother than oil,

Wisdom will save you from the immoral woman, from the seductive words of the promiscuous woman.

His words are as smooth as butter, but in his heart is war. His words are as soothing as lotion, but underneath are daggers!

So she seduced him with her pretty speech and enticed him with her flattery.

Let them protect you from an affair with an immoral woman, from listening to the flattery of a promiscuous woman.

It will keep you from the immoral woman, from the smooth tongue of a promiscuous woman.

The kings of the world have committed adultery with her, and the people who belong to this world have been made drunk by the wine of her immorality.”So the angel took me in the Spirit into the wilderness. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that had seven heads and ten horns, and blasphemies against God were written all over it.The woman wore purple and scarlet clothing and beautiful jewelry made of gold and precious gems and pearls. In her hand she held a gold goblet full of obscenities and the impurities of her immorality.A mysterious name was written on her forehead:“ Babylon the Great, Mother of All Prostitutes and Obscenities in the World.”I could see that she was drunk— drunk with the blood of God’s holy people who were witnesses for Jesus. I stared at her in complete amazement.
