For your ways are in full view of the Lord, and he examines all your paths.

The Lord watches your ways. He studies all your paths.

For a man’s ways are before the eyes of the Lord, and he ponders all his paths.

For the Lord sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes.

You plan great things and you do mighty deeds. You see everything people do. You reward each of them for the way they live and for the things they do.

And no creature is hidden from God, but everything is naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must render an account.

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on those who are evil and those who are good.

Does he not see my ways and count all my steps?

For I see everything they do. Their wicked ways are not hidden from me. Their sin is not hidden away where I cannot see it.

The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD’s throne is in heaven. His eyes watch; his eyes examine all people.

I keep your precepts and rules, for you are aware of everything I do.ת( Tav)

O LORD, you examine me and know.You know when I sit down and when I get up; even from far away you understand my motives.You carefully observe me when I travel or when I lie down to rest; you are aware of everything I do.Certainly my tongue does not frame a word without you, O LORD, being thoroughly aware of it.You squeeze me in from behind and in front; you place your hand on me.Your knowledge is beyond my comprehension; it is so far beyond me, I am unable to fathom it.Where can I go to escape your spirit? They do not realize that I remember all of their wicked deeds. Their evil deeds have now surrounded them; their sinful deeds are always before me.

“ Surely now you count my steps; then you would not mark my sin.

Certainly the LORD watches the whole earth carefully and is ready to strengthen those who are devoted to him. You have acted foolishly in this matter; from now on you will have war.

You have scrutinized my inner motives; you have examined me during the night. You have carefully evaluated me, but you find no sin. I am determined I will say nothing sinful.

Furthermore, I will strike her followers with a deadly disease, and then all the churches will know that I am the one who searches minds and hearts. I will repay each one of you what your deeds deserve.

I, the LORD, probe into people’s minds. I examine people’s hearts. I deal with each person according to how he has behaved. I give them what they deserve based on what they have done.
