“ As for me, I will certainly not sin against the Lord by ending my prayers for you. And I will continue to teach you what is good and right.But be sure to fear the Lord and faithfully serve him. Think of all the wonderful things he has done for you.

“ Look, I now teach you these decrees and regulations just as the Lord my God commanded me, so that you may obey them in the land you are about to enter and occupy.

Keep this in mind: The Teacher was considered wise, and he taught the people everything he knew. He listened carefully to many proverbs, studying and classifying them.

My words are plain to anyone with understanding, clear to those with knowledge.

Then he said,“ You son of the devil, full of every sort of deceit and fraud, and enemy of all that is good! Will you never stop perverting the true ways of the Lord?

Listen to me! For I have important things to tell you. Everything I say is right,

I walk in righteousness, in paths of justice.
