A lion[ which is] strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;

就是狮子乃百兽中最为猛烈、无所躲避的，

狮子—百兽中最勇猛的、无论遇见什么绝不退缩，

狮子—百兽中最勇猛的、无论遇见什么绝不退缩，

威震百兽、从不畏缩的狮子，

就是在百兽中最威猛的狮子，它面对任何野兽，也不会退缩；

就是：动物中勇猛的狮子，它面对一切都不退缩；

就是獅子－乃百獸中最為猛烈、無所躲避的，

獅子－百獸中最勇猛的、無論遇見甚麼絕不退縮，

獅子－百獸中最勇猛的、無論遇見甚麼絕不退縮，

威震百獸、從不畏縮的獅子，

就是在百獸中最威猛的獅子，牠面對任何野獸，也不會退縮；

獅子、在野獸中最雄猛，在任何獸面前都不迴避的，

就是：動物中勇猛的獅子，牠面對一切都不退縮；

即獅為百獸長、無所迴避、

獅為百獸王、無所畏避、

百獸中最勇猛無所畏避之獅、

a lion, mighty among beasts, who retreats before nothing;

The first is a lion, which is mighty among the animals. It doesn’t back away from anything.

And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What[ is] sweeter than honey? and what[ is] stronger than a lion? And he said unto them, If ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle.

Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat[ of] the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.
