The first is a servant who becomes a king. The second is a foolish and ungodly person who gets plenty to eat.

a slave when he becomes king, and a fool when he is filled with food;

a slave who becomes a king, an overbearing fool who prospers,

a servant when he becomes king, a fool when he is stuffed with food,

It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury— how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!

I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves.

“ I will make mere youths their officials; children will rule over them.”People will oppress each other— man against man, neighbor against neighbor. The young will rise up against the old, the nobody against the honored.

So she told him nothing at all until daybreak.Then in the morning, when Nabal was sober, his wife told him all these things, and his heart failed him and he became like a stone.About ten days later, the Lord struck Nabal and he died.
