I am more stupid than any other man, and I lack man’s ability to understand.

Surely I am only a brute, not a man; I do not have human understanding.

Surely I am only a dumb animal and not a man. I don’t understand as other men do.

Surely I am too stupid to be a man. I have not the understanding of a man.

I am too stupid to be human, and I lack common sense.

I am more stupid than any other person, and I lack a human’s ability to understand.

I am certainly more stupid than any man, And I do not have the understanding of a man;

Surely I am more stupid than any man, And do not have the understanding of a man.

Surely I am more brutish than any man, And have not the understanding of a man;

“ Surely I am the most ignorant man, and don’t have a man’s understanding.

I was stupid and didn’t understand; I was an unthinking animal toward You.

You asked,“ Who is this who conceals My counsel with ignorance?” Surely I spoke about things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.You said,“ Listen now, and I will speak. When I question you, you will inform Me.”I had heard rumors about You, but now my eyes have seen You.Therefore I take back my words and repent in dust and ashes.

No one should deceive himself. If anyone among you thinks he is wise in this age, he must become foolish so that he can become wise.

Everyone is stupid and ignorant. Every goldsmith is put to shame by his carved image, for his cast images are a lie; there is no breath in them.

and you will say,“ How I hated discipline, and how my heart despised correction.

For one can see that wise men die; foolish and stupid men also pass away. Then they leave their wealth to others.

They seduce unstable people and have hearts trained in greed. Children under a curse!They have gone astray by abandoning the straight path and have followed the path of Balaam, the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousnessbut received a rebuke for his transgression: A donkey that could not talk spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s irrationality.
