“ The eye that mocks a father, that scorns an aged mother, will be pecked out by the ravens of the valley, will be eaten by the vultures.

“ One person makes fun of their father. Another doesn’t honor their mother when she is old. The ravens of the valley will peck out their eyes. Then the vultures will eat them.

The eye that mocks a father and scorns to obey a mother will be picked out by the ravens of the valley and eaten by the vultures.

The eye that mocks a father and despises a mother’s instructions will be plucked out by ravens of the valley and eaten by vultures.

As for the eye that ridicules a father and despises obedience to a mother, may ravens of the valley pluck it out and young vultures eat it.

要聽從生養你的父親，不可輕視年老的母親。

「如果一個人的兒子冥頑不靈、悖逆成性、屢教不改，他父母要抓住他，把他帶到城門口去見本城的長老，對他們說，『我們這個兒子冥頑不靈、悖逆成性，不肯聽從我們，是個貪吃好酒之徒。』全城的人都要用石頭打死他，從你們中間除掉這種罪惡。所有以色列人聽說後，都會感到害怕。

有一種人咒詛父親，不為母親祝福。

約押說：「我不跟你浪費時間。」趁著押沙龍還吊在橡樹上，他拿起三杆矛槍剌入了他的心臟。十個為約押拿兵器的年輕人圍上去將押沙龍殺死。隨後，約押吹起收兵的號角，部下便停止追趕以色列人。他們把押沙龍的屍體丟在林中的一個坑裡，在上面堆了一大堆石頭。以色列人都各自逃回家去了。

掃羅的嬪妃、埃亞的女兒利斯巴在一塊磐石上用麻布搭了一座棚看屍。她白天不讓飛鳥靠近，夜間不容野獸走近，從開始收割大麥，一直守到降下雨來。

「咒罵父母的，必被處死。他咒罵父母，必須承擔自己的罪。

又說：「你過來，我要把你的肉丟給天上的飛禽和地上的走獸。」

一天，他喝葡萄酒喝醉了，赤裸著身體躺在帳篷裡。迦南的父親含看見他父親赤身露體，便去告訴外面的兩個弟兄。於是，閃和雅弗拿了一件衣服搭在肩上，倒退著走進帳篷，把衣服蓋在父親身上，他們背著臉不看父親赤裸的身體。挪亞酒醒後，知道了小兒子做的事，就說：「迦南該受咒詛，必做他弟兄的僕人的僕人。」又說：「閃的上帝耶和華當受稱頌！迦南要做閃的僕人。願上帝擴張雅弗的疆界，願他住在閃的帳篷裡，讓迦南做他的僕人。」

你們的屍體要成為飛禽走獸的食物，必無人趕走牠們。

咒罵父母的人，他的生命必消逝在黑暗中。

押沙龍碰巧遇見大衛的部下。他騎著騾子逃走，騾子從一棵大橡樹的茂密枝條下經過，押沙龍的頭髮被樹枝纏住，整個人吊在半空中，胯下的騾子也跑了。大衛的一個部下看見，就向約押稟告說：「我看見押沙龍正吊在橡樹上。」
