你們這些踐踏貧窮人、使這地困苦人衰敗的，當聽這話！

耶和華說：「因為困苦人的冤屈和貧窮人的嘆息，我現在要起來，把他安置在他所切慕的穩妥之地。」

上帝啊，求你敲碎他們口中的牙！耶和華啊，求你敲掉少壯獅子的大牙！

他在村莊埋伏等候，在隱密處殺害無辜的人，他的眼睛窺探無倚無靠的人。他埋伏在暗地，如獅子蹲在洞中。他埋伏，要俘擄困苦人；他拉網，就把困苦人擄去。

禍哉，那些在床上圖謀罪孽、籌劃惡事的人！天一亮，他們因手中有能力就去行惡。他們看上田地就佔據，貪圖房屋便奪取；他們欺壓戶主和他的家庭，霸佔人和他的產業。

說話浮躁，猶如刺刀；智慧人的舌頭卻能醫治。

頭髮像女人的頭髮，牙齒像獅子的牙齒；

他們把貧寒人的頭踐踏在地的塵土上，又阻礙困苦人的道路。父子與同一個女子行淫，以致褻瀆我的聖名。

你這行詭詐的人哪，你的舌頭像快利的剃刀，圖謀毀滅。

流氓的手段邪惡，他圖謀惡計，用謊言毀滅困苦人；貧窮人講求公理時，他也是如此行。

「你們這些撒瑪利亞山上的巴珊母牛啊，當聽這話！你們欺負貧寒人，壓碎貧窮人，對主人說：『拿酒來，我們喝吧！』

注意！你們這些富足人哪，要為將要臨到你們身上的災難哭泣、號咷。你們的財物腐爛了，你們的衣服被蟲子蛀了。你們的金銀都生銹了；這銹要證明你們的不是，又要像火一樣吞吃你們的肉。你們在這末世只知道積蓄錢財。工人給你們收割莊稼，你們剋扣他們的工錢；這工錢在喊冤，而且收割工人的冤聲已經進入萬軍之主的耳朵了。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們當着人的面把天國的門關了，自己不進去，要進去的人，你們也不容他們進去。

你以其戈矛刺透他戰士的頭；他們如旋風將我颳散，他們喜愛暗中吞吃困苦的人。

其中的領袖是咆哮的獅子，審判官是晚上的野狼，不留一點到早晨。

欺壓貧寒人為要利己的，並送禮給有錢人的，都必缺乏。

看哪，另有一獸如熊，就是第二獸，半身側立，口裏的牙齒中有三根獠牙。有人吩咐這獸說：「起來，吞吃許多的肉。」其後，我觀看，看哪，另有一獸如豹，背上有四個鳥的翅膀；這獸有四個頭，還給了牠權柄。其後，我在夜間的異象中觀看，看哪，第四獸可怕可懼，極其強壯，有大鐵牙，吞吃嚼碎，剩下的用腳踐踏。這獸與前面所有的獸不同，牠有十隻角。

窮乏人欺壓貧寒人，好像暴雨掃過，不留糧食。

於是我說：雅各的領袖，以色列家的官長啊，你們要聽！你們豈不知道公平嗎？你們惡善好惡，剝我百姓身上的皮，從他們的骨頭上剔肉，你們吃我百姓的肉，剝他們的皮，打斷他們的骨頭，如切塊下鍋，如釜中的肉。到了遭災的時候，這些人要哀求耶和華，他卻不應允他們。那時，因他們所行的惡，他必轉臉離開他們。論到使我百姓走入歧途的先知，他們牙齒有所嚼，就呼喊說：「平安！」誰不給他們吃，就揚言攻擊他，耶和華如此說：
