你們這些要吞吃窮乏人、使困苦人衰敗的，當聽我的話！

耶和華說：因為困苦人的冤屈和貧窮人的歎息，我現在要起來，把他安置在他所切慕的穩妥之地。

神啊，求你敲碎他們口中的牙！耶和華啊，求你敲掉少壯獅子的大牙！

他在村莊埋伏等候；他在隱密處殺害無辜的人。他的眼睛窺探無倚無靠的人；他埋伏在暗地，如獅子蹲在洞中。他埋伏，要擄去困苦人；他拉網，就把困苦人擄去。

禍哉，那些在牀上圖謀罪孽、造作奸惡的！天一發亮，因手有能力就行出來了。他們貪圖田地就佔據，貪圖房屋便奪取；他們欺壓人，霸佔房屋和產業。

說話浮躁的，如刀刺人；智慧人的舌頭卻為醫人的良藥。

頭髮像女人的頭髮，牙齒像獅子的牙齒。

他們見窮人頭上所蒙的灰也都垂涎，阻礙謙卑人的道路。父子同一個女子行淫，褻瀆我的聖名。

你的舌頭邪惡詭詐，好像剃頭刀，快利傷人。

吝嗇人所用的法子是惡的；他圖謀惡計，用謊言毀滅謙卑人；窮乏人講公理的時候，他也是這樣行。

你們住撒馬利亞山如巴珊母牛的啊，當聽我的話－你們欺負貧寒的，壓碎窮乏的，對家主說：拿酒來，我們喝吧！

嗐！你們這些富足人哪，應當哭泣、號咷，因為將有苦難臨到你們身上。你們的財物壞了，衣服也被蟲子咬了。你們的金銀都長了銹；那銹要證明你們的不是，又要吃你們的肉，如同火燒。你們在這末世只知積攢錢財。工人給你們收割莊稼，你們虧欠他們的工錢，這工錢有聲音呼叫，並且那收割之人的冤聲已經入了萬軍之主的耳了。

「你們這假冒為善的文士和法利賽人有禍了！因為你們正當人前，把天國的門關了，自己不進去，正要進去的人，你們也不容他們進去。

你用敵人的戈矛刺透他戰士的頭；他們來如旋風，要將我們分散。他們所喜愛的是暗中吞吃貧民。

她中間的首領是咆哮的獅子；她的審判官是晚上的豺狼，一點食物也不留到早晨。

欺壓貧窮為要利己的，並送禮與富戶的，都必缺乏。

又有一獸如熊，就是第二獸，旁跨而坐，口齒內啣着三根肋骨。有吩咐這獸的說：「起來吞吃多肉。」此後我觀看，又有一獸如豹，背上有鳥的四個翅膀；這獸有四個頭，又得了權柄。其後我在夜間的異象中觀看，見第四獸甚是可怕，極其強壯，大有力量，有大鐵牙，吞吃嚼碎，所剩下的用腳踐踏。這獸與前三獸大不相同，頭有十角。

窮人欺壓貧民，好像暴雨沖沒糧食。

我說：雅各的首領，以色列家的官長啊，你們要聽！你們不當知道公平嗎？你們惡善好惡，從人身上剝皮，從人骨頭上剔肉，吃我民的肉，剝他們的皮，打折他們的骨頭，分成塊子像要下鍋，又像釜中的肉。到了遭災的時候，這些人必哀求耶和華，他卻不應允他們。那時他必照他們所行的惡事向他們掩面。論到使我民走差路的先知－他們牙齒有所嚼的，他們就呼喊說：平安了！凡不供給他們吃的，他們就預備攻擊他－耶和華如此說：
