[ There is] a generation[ that are] pure in their own eyes, and[ yet] is not washed from their filthiness.

這世代自以為純淨，但自己的汙穢卻沒有被洗淨。

有人自視為潔、而實未滌其污、

those who are pure in their own eyes and yet are not cleansed of their filth;

Some are pure in their own eyes. But their dirty sins haven’t been washed away.

There are those who are clean in their own eyes but are not washed of their filth.

They are pure in their own eyes, but they are filthy and unwashed.

There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, yet is not washed from its filth.

There is a kind who is pure in his own eyes, Yet is not washed from his filthiness.

The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men[ are], extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

All the ways of a man[ are] clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

Yet thou sayest, Because I am innocent, surely his anger shall turn from me. Behold, I will plead with thee, because thou sayest, I have not sinned.

Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These[ are] a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.

Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.

Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil;

Unto the pure all things[ are] pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving[ is] nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.They profess that they know God; but in works they deny[ him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.

Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness.

Every way of a man[ is] right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us[ our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.[ Ye] fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

And the man Micah had an house of gods, and made an ephod, and teraphim, and consecrated one of his sons, who became his priest.

I am clean without transgression, I[ am] innocent; neither[ is there] iniquity in me.

And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed[ be] thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.And Samuel said, What[ meaneth] then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

For though thou wash thee with nitre, and take thee much soap,[ yet] thine iniquity is marked before me, saith the Lord GOD.How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? see thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done:[ thou art] a swift dromedary traversing her ways;A wild ass used to the wilderness,[ that] snuffeth up the wind at her pleasure; in her occasion who can turn her away? all they that seek her will not weary themselves; in her month they shall find her.

And from Jesus Christ,[ who is] the faithful witness,[ and] the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to[ my] priest.
