Do not envy the violent or choose any of their ways.

Don’t be jealous of a person who hurts others. Don’t choose any of their ways.

If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent taking away of justice and righteousness in a district, don’t marvel at the matter, for one official is eyed by a higher one, and there are officials over them.

Don’t fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness.

Don’t let your heart envy sinners, but rather fear Yahweh all day long.

envy, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God’s Kingdom.

Don’t fret yourself because of evildoers, neither be envious of the wicked;for there will be no reward to the evil man. The lamp of the wicked will be snuffed out.

to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,who forsake the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness,who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the perverseness of evil,who are crooked in their ways, and wayward in their paths,

Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen.Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. Don’t fret; it leads only to evildoing.For evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for Yahweh shall inherit the land.

The wicked desires the plunder of evil men, but the root of the righteous flourishes.

Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court;for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them.Don’t befriend a hot- tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger:lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul.

For I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
