Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him; Do not get upset because of one who is successful in his way, Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.Cease from anger and abandon wrath; Do not get upset; it leads only to evildoing.For evildoers will be eliminated, But those who wait for the Lord, they will inherit the land.

The wicked person desires the plunder of evil people, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.

Do not rob the poor because he is poor, Nor crush the needy at the gate;For the Lord will plead their case And take the life of those who rob them.Do not make friends with a person given to anger, Or go with a hot tempered person,Or you will learn his ways And find a snare for yourself.

For I was envious of the arrogant As I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
