If you see oppression of the poor and perversion of justice and righteousness in the province, don’t be astonished at the situation, because one official protects another official, and higher officials protect them.

The wicked desire what evil people have caught, but the root of the righteous is productive.

Don’t rob a poor person because he is poor, and don’t crush the oppressed at the city gate,for the LORD will champion their cause and will plunder those who plunder them.Don’t make friends with an angry person, and don’t be a companion of a hot-tempered one,or you will learn his ways and entangle yourself in a snare.

For I envied the arrogant; I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
