For they have dug a pit for me. Remember how I stood before You To speak good in their behalf, So as to turn Your wrath away from them.

For they do not speak peace, But they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.

Will they who devise evil not go astray? But kindness and truth will be to those who devise good.

A person of violence entices his neighbor And leads him in a way that is not good.He who winks his eyes does so to devise perverse things; He who compresses his lips brings evil to pass.
