My son, despise not the chastening of Jehovah; Neither be weary of his reproof:

我儿，你不可轻看耶和华的管教，也不可厌烦他的责备；

孩子啊，不可轻视耶和华的管教，也不可厌烦祂的责备。

我兒，你不可輕看耶和華的管教，也不可厭煩他的責備；

孩子啊，不可輕視耶和華的管教，也不可厭煩祂的責備。

我兒，不可輕看耶和華的管教，也不可厭惡他的責備；

弟子啊，永恆主的管教你不可藐視；他的責備你不可憎厭；

我兒啊，不可厭棄耶和華的管教，也不可厭惡他的責備！

我子、勿輕耶和華之懲罰、勿厭其譴責、

爾小子、耶和華責爾勿輕視、主譴爾勿喪膽、

My son, do not despise the Lord’s discipline, and do not resent his rebuke,

and ye have forgotten the exhortation which reasoneth with you as with sons, My son, regard not lightly the chastening of the Lord, Nor faint when thou art reproved of him;For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, And scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.It is for chastening that ye endure; God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father chasteneth not?But if ye are without chastening, whereof all have been made partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.Furthermore, we had the fathers of our flesh to chasten us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?For they indeed for a few days chastened us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.All chastening seemeth for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yieldeth peaceable fruit unto them that have been exercised thereby, even the fruit of righteousness.Wherefore lift up the hands that hang down, and the palsied knees;

As many as I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Jehovah, And teachest out of thy law;

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;

Therefore seeing we have this ministry, even as we obtained mercy, we faint not:

For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls.

But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.

If thou faint in the day of adversity, Thy strength is small.

But now it is come unto thee, and thou faintest; It toucheth thee, and thou art troubled.
