Evil people don’t understand justice, but those who follow the Lord understand completely.

坏人不明白公义；惟有寻求耶和华的，无不明白。

Evildoers do not understand what is right, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.

Sinful people don’t understand what is right. But those who worship the Lord understand it completely.

Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it completely.

The evil do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand everything.

Anyone who wants to do the will of God will know whether my teaching is from God or is merely my own.

But you have received the Holy Spirit, and he lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what he teaches is true— it is not a lie. So just as he has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.

But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth.

Only a simpleton would not know, and only a fool would not understand this:

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.

“ My people are foolish and do not know me,” says the Lord.“ They are stupid children who have no understanding. They are clever enough at doing wrong, but they have no idea how to do right!”

I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments.

But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.Those who are spiritual can evaluate all things, but they themselves cannot be evaluated by others.

The path of life leads upward for the wise; they leave the grave behind.

Later, when Jesus was alone with the twelve disciples and with the others who were gathered around, they asked him what the parables meant.He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secret of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders,so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled:‘ When they see what I do, they will learn nothing. When they hear what I say, they will not understand. Otherwise, they will turn to me and be forgiven.’”Then Jesus said to them,“ If you can’t understand the meaning of this parable, how will you understand all the other parables?

Wisdom is too lofty for fools. Among leaders at the city gate, they have nothing to say.

The Lord is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant.
