Evildoers do not understand what is right, but those who seek the Lord understand it fully.

Sinful people don’t understand what is right. But those who worship the Lord understand it completely.

Evil men do not understand justice, but those who seek the Lord understand it completely.

The evil do not understand justice, but those who seek the LORD understand everything.

Nevertheless you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.

The spiritually insensitive do not recognize this; the fool does not understand this.

But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him.

The LORD answered,“ This will happen because my people are foolish. They do not know me. They are like children who have no sense. They have no understanding. They are skilled at doing evil. They do not know how to do good.”

I am more discerning than those older than I, for I observe your precepts.

The unbeliever does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him. And he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.The one who is spiritual discerns all things, yet he himself is understood by no one.

The path of life is upward for the wise person, to keep him from going downward to Sheol.

When he was alone, those around him with the twelve asked him about the parables.He said to them,“ The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those outside, everything is in parables,so that although they look they may look but not see, and although they hear they may hear but not understand, so they may not repent and be forgiven.”He said to them,“ Don’t you understand this parable? Then how will you understand any parable?

Wisdom is unattainable for a fool; in court he does not open his mouth.

The LORD’s loyal followers receive his guidance, and he reveals his covenantal demands to them.
