Many men claim to be men of unfailing love, but who can find a faithful man?

Please give them a talent of silver and two changes of clothing.’”Naaman said,“ Be pleased to take two talents.” He urged him, and bound two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing, and laid them on two of his servants; and they carried them before him.When he came to the hill, he took them from their hand, and stored them in the house. Then he let the men go, and they departed.But he went in, and stood before his master. Elisha said to him,“ Where did you come from, Gehazi?” He said,“ Your servant went nowhere.”He said to him,“ Didn’t my heart go with you, when the man turned from his chariot to meet you? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments, and olive groves and vineyards, and sheep and cattle, and male servants and female servants?Therefore the leprosy of Naaman will cling to you and to your offspring forever.” He went out from his presence a leper, as white as snow.

Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man’s judgment. Yes, I don’t judge my own self.For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

He also said to his disciples,“ There was a certain rich man who had a manager. An accusation was made to him that this man was wasting his possessions.

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright, gracious, merciful, and righteous.It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment.For he will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered forever.He will not be afraid of evil news. His heart is steadfast, trusting in Yahweh.His heart is established. He will not be afraid in the end when he sees his adversaries.He has dispersed, he has given to the poor. His righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted with honor.

The Lord said,“ Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his lord will set over his household, to give them their portion of food at the right times?

Whoever mocks the poor reproaches his Maker. He who is glad at calamity shall not be unpunished.

“ I know your works and where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn’t deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

Don’t weary yourself to be rich. In your wisdom, show restraint.

But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction.For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said,“ Who among all your servants is so faithful as David, who is the king’s son- in- law, captain of your body guard, and honored in your house?
