But no one has taken me home for the night.We have straw and feed for our donkeys. We have food and wine for ourselves. We have enough for me, the woman and the young man with us. We don’t need anything.”“ You are welcome at my house,” the old man said.“ I’d be happy to supply anything you might need. But don’t spend the night in the street.”So the old man took him into his house and fed his donkeys. After the travelers had washed their feet, they had something to eat and drink.

“ My lords,” he said,“ please come to my house. You can wash your feet and spend the night there. Then you can go on your way early in the morning.”“ No,” they answered.“ We’ll spend the night in the town square.”But Lot wouldn’t give up. So they went with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them. He baked bread without using yeast. And they ate.

So I plan to see you when I go to Spain. I hope to visit you while I am passing through. And I hope you will help me on my journey there. But first I want to enjoy being with you for a while.
