If you go to war, you surely need guidance. If you want to win, you need many good advisers.

Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.

for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory.

So don’t go to war without wise guidance; victory depends on having many advisers.

for you should wage war with sound guidance— victory comes with many counselors.

For by wise guidance you will wage war, And in an abundance of counselors there is victory.

For by wise counsel you will wage your own war, And in a multitude of counselors there is safety.

For by wise guidance thou shalt make thy war; And in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.

Without guidance a nation falls. But many good advisers can bring victory to a nation.

Plans are made by asking for guidance. So if you go to war, get good advice.

Finally, let the Lord make you strong. Depend on his mighty power.Put on all of God’s armor. Then you can remain strong against the devil’s evil plans.Our fight is not against human beings. It is against the rulers, the authorities and the powers of this dark world. It is against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly world.So put on all of God’s armor. Evil days will come. But you will be able to stand up to anything. And after you have done everything you can, you will still be standing.So remain strong in the faith. Put the belt of truth around your waist. Put the armor of godliness on your chest.Wear on your feet what will prepare you to tell the good news of peace.Also, pick up the shield of faith. With it you can put out all the flaming arrows of the evil one.Put on the helmet of salvation. And take the sword of the Holy Spirit. The sword is God’s word.At all times, pray by the power of the Spirit. Pray all kinds of prayers. Be watchful, so that you can pray. Always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.Pray also for me. Pray that whenever I speak, the right words will be given to me. Then I can be bold as I tell the mystery of the good news.Because of the good news, I am being held by chains as the Lord’s messenger. So pray that I will be bold as I preach the good news. That’s what I should do.

“ Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. And suppose he has 10,000 men, while the other has 20,000 coming against him. Won’t he first sit down and think about whether he can win?

I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.

All who take part in the games train hard. They do it to get a crown that will not last. But we do it to get a crown that will last forever.So I do not run like someone who doesn’t run toward the finish line. I do not fight like a boxer who hits nothing but air.No, I train my body and bring it under control. Then after I have preached to others, I myself will not break the rules. If I did break them, I would fail to win the prize.

Plans fail without good advice. But they succeed when there are many advisers.

But you are a man of God. Run away from all these things. Try hard to do what is right and godly. Have faith, love and gentleness. Hold on to what you believe.Fight the good fight along with all other believers. Take hold of eternal life. You were chosen for it when you openly told others what you believe. Many witnesses heard you.
