You might sleep a little or take a little nap. You might even fold your hands and rest.

Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation.

Give no sleep to your eyes, Nor slumber to your eyelids.Deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter, And like a bird from the hand of the fowler.Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise,Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler,Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest.How long will you slumber, O sluggard? And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.

Therefore He says:“ Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”
