A judge who says to the wicked,“ You are innocent,” will be cursed by many people and denounced by the nations.

对恶人说“你是义人”的，万民必诅咒，万族必恼恨。

判恶人无罪的，必遭万人咒诅，为列国痛恨。

对坏人说“你是好人”的，万民都要咒骂他，万族都必憎恶他。

谁要是对恶人说“你是义人”，万民就咒骂他，万族就恼恨他；

對惡人說「你是義人」的，這人萬民必咒詛，列邦必憎惡。

對惡人說「你是義人」的，萬民必詛咒，萬族必惱恨。

視惡為善、民人怨詛。

Whoever says to the guilty,“ You are innocent,” will be cursed by peoples and denounced by nations.

A curse will fall on those who say the guilty are not guilty. Nations will ask for bad things to happen to them. People will speak against them.

Whoever says to the wicked,“ You are in the right,” will be cursed by peoples, abhorred by nations,

Whoever says to the guilty,“ You are innocent”— peoples will curse him, and nations will denounce him;

One who says to the wicked,“ You are righteous,” Peoples will curse him, nations will scold him;

He who says to the wicked,“ You are righteous,” Him the people will curse; Nations will abhor him.

He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous, Peoples shall curse him, nations shall abhor him;

Whoever says to the guilty,“ You are innocent”— people will curse him, and tribes will denounce him;

He that saith unto the wicked, Thou[ art] righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:

The one who says to the guilty,“ You are innocent,” peoples will curse him, and nations will denounce him.

He who says to the wicked,“ You are righteous,” peoples will curse him, and nations will abhor him—

Acquitting the guilty and condemning the innocent— both are detestable to the Lord.

People curse those who hoard their grain, but they bless the one who sells in time of need.

They take bribes to let the wicked go free, and they punish the innocent.

“ In a lawsuit, you must not deny justice to the poor.“ Be sure never to charge anyone falsely with evil. Never sentence an innocent or blameless person to death, for I never declare a guilty person to be innocent.

And as they go out, they will see the dead bodies of those who have rebelled against me. For the worms that devour them will never die, and the fire that burns them will never go out. All who pass by will view them with utter horror.”

I will give their wives to others and their farms to strangers. From the least to the greatest, their lives are ruled by greed. Yes, even my prophets and priests are like that. They are all frauds.They offer superficial treatments for my people’s mortal wound. They give assurances of peace when there is no peace.

You have discouraged the righteous with your lies, but I didn’t want them to be sad. And you have encouraged the wicked by promising them life, even though they continue in their sins.

Never slander a worker to the employer, or the person will curse you, and you will pay for it.

What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.

Whoever gives to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to poverty will be cursed.
