for though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.

Even if godly people fall down seven times, they always get up. But those who are evil trip and fall when trouble comes.

He will bring me out to the light. I will see his righteousness.Then my enemy will see it, and shame will cover her who said to me, where is Yahweh your God? Then my enemy will see me and will cover her shame. Now she will be trodden down like the mire of the streets.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all.

He will deliver you in six troubles; yes, in seven no evil will touch you.

We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair;pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed;always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh.So then death works in us, but life in you.

For when they are saying,“ Peace and safety,” then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman. Then they will in no way escape.

The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the righteous has a refuge.

“ Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets; for God has judged your judgment on her.”A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying,“ Thus with violence will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down, and will be found no more at all.

God will likewise destroy you forever. He will take you up, and pluck you out of your tent, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.

Blessed is the man who always fears; but one who hardens his heart falls into trouble.As a roaring lion or a charging bear, so is a wicked ruler over helpless people.A tyrannical ruler lacks judgment. One who hates ill- gotten gain will have long days.A man who is tormented by life blood will be a fugitive until death; no one will support him.Whoever walks blamelessly is kept safe; but one with perverse ways will fall suddenly.

A wicked messenger falls into trouble, but a trustworthy envoy gains healing.

“ The virgin of Israel has fallen; She shall rise no more. She is cast down on her land; there is no one to raise her up.”

David said,“ As Yahweh lives, Yahweh will strike him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall go down into battle and perish.

The trouble he causes shall return to his own head. His violence shall come down on the crown of his own head.

Then Saul said to his armor bearer,“ Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it, lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me!” But his armor bearer would not; for he was terrified. Therefore Saul took his sword, and fell on it.
