你要側耳聽智者之言，專心領受我的教誨，

你當側耳聽從智慧人的話語，你的心要專注於我的知識；

傾耳以聽智者之言、專心於我知識、

傾耳以聽良言、專心以學智慧。

爾當側耳以聽智者之言、以心領會我之達道、

Pay attention and listen to the sayings of wise people. Apply your heart to the sayings I teach.

Incline your ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my knowledge,

Listen to the words of the wise; apply your heart to my instruction.

Listen closely, pay attention to the words of the wise, and apply your mind to my knowledge.

Extend your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your mind to my knowledge;

Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise, And apply your heart to my knowledge;

Incline thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, And apply thy heart unto my knowledge.

Listen closely, pay attention to the words of the wise, and apply your mind to my knowledge.

Bow down thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thine heart unto my knowledge.

Incline your ear and listen to the words of the wise, and apply your heart to my instruction.

Turn your ear, and listen to the words of the wise. Apply your heart to my teaching.

Apply your heart to instruction and your ears to words of knowledge.

Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart,

for receiving instruction in prudent behavior, doing what is right and just and fair;

turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding—indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding,and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.

My son, pay attention to my wisdom, turn your ear to my words of insight,that you may maintain discretion and your lips may preserve knowledge.

So I turned my mind to understand, to investigate and to search out wisdom and the scheme of things and to understand the stupidity of wickedness and the madness of folly.

Listen to my instruction and be wise; do not disregard it.Blessed are those who listen to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at my doorway.

All this I saw, as I applied my mind to everything done under the sun. There is a time when a man lords it over others to his own hurt.

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said,“ This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”

When I applied my mind to know wisdom and to observe the labor that is done on earth— people getting no sleep day or night—

Give ear and come to me; listen, that you may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David.

Then he taught me, and he said to me,“ Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands, and you will live.Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them.Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you.The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you.
