A guilty one’s conduct is crooked, but the behavior of the innocent is upright.

The way of the guilty is devious, but the conduct of the innocent is upright.

The path of those who are guilty is crooked. But the conduct of those who are not guilty is honest.

God saw how corrupt the earth was, for every creature had corrupted its way on the earth.

To the pure, everything is pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; in fact, both their mind and conscience are defiled.

What is a mere human, that he should be pure, or one born of a woman, that he should be righteous?If God puts no trust in his holy ones and the heavens are not pure in his sight,how much less one who is revolting and corrupt, who drinks injustice like water?

This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: there is one fate for everyone. In addition, the hearts of people are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live; after that they go to the dead.

The LORD detests the plans of the one who is evil, but pleasant words are pure.

Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly; none of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand.

Since you have purified yourselves by your obedience to the truth, so that you show sincere brotherly love for each other, from a pure heart love one another constantly,because you have been born again— not of perishable seed but of imperishable— through the living and enduring word of God.

Only see this: I have discovered that God made people upright, but they pursued many schemes.”

because you are still worldly. For since there is envy and strife among you, are you not worldly and behaving like mere humans?

The LORD looks down from heaven on the human race to see if there is one who is wise, one who seeks God.All have turned away; all alike have become corrupt. There is no one who does good, not even one.

He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

He gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to cleanse for himself a people for his own possession, eager to do good works.
