The Righteous One takes note of the house of the wicked and brings the wicked to ruin.

义人思想恶人的家，知道恶人倾倒，必致灭亡。

惡人之家、義者度之、知其必覆而亡、

作惡之家、善人識微、知其必亡。

公義之主、鑒察惡人之家、將惡人投於禍患、或作善人觀惡人之家知惡人必陷於禍患

The Blameless One knows where sinners live. And he destroys them.

The Righteous One observes the house of the wicked; he throws the wicked down to ruin.

The Righteous One knows what is going on in the homes of the wicked; he will bring disaster on them.

The Righteous One considers the house of the wicked; he brings the wicked to ruin.

The righteous one considers the house of the wicked, Bringing the wicked to ruin.

The righteous God wisely considers the house of the wicked, Overthrowing the wicked for their wickedness.

The righteous man considereth the house of the wicked, How the wicked are overthrown to their ruin.

The Righteous One considers the house of the wicked; He brings the wicked to ruin.

The righteous[ man] wisely considereth the house of the wicked:[ but God] overthroweth the wicked for[ their] wickedness.

I have seen a wicked and ruthless man flourishing like a luxuriant native tree,but he soon passed away and was no more; though I looked for him, he could not be found.

By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

Surely God will bring you down to everlasting ruin: He will snatch you up and pluck you from your tent; he will uproot you from the land of the living.

“ I overthrew some of you as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire, yet you have not returned to me,” declares the Lord.

When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down, but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.

I myself have seen a fool taking root, but suddenly his house was cursed.

The house of the wicked will be destroyed, but the tent of the upright will flourish.

Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness.

For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment;if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless( for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

They lean on the web, but it gives way; they cling to it, but it does not hold.

Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.

Righteousness guards the person of integrity, but wickedness overthrows the sinner.

You say,‘ Where now is the house of the great, the tents where the wicked lived?’Have you never questioned those who travel? Have you paid no regard to their accounts—that the wicked are spared from the day of calamity, that they are delivered from the day of wrath?

The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.Wealth is worthless in the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.The righteousness of the blameless makes their paths straight, but the wicked are brought down by their own wickedness.

“ Woe to him who builds his house by unjust gain, setting his nest on high to escape the clutches of ruin!You have plotted the ruin of many peoples, shaming your own house and forfeiting your life.The stones of the wall will cry out, and the beams of the woodwork will echo it.“ Woe to him who builds a city with bloodshed and establishes a town by injustice!

He is torn from the security of his tent and marched off to the king of terrors.Fire resides in his tent; burning sulfur is scattered over his dwelling.His roots dry up below and his branches wither above.The memory of him perishes from the earth; he has no name in the land.He is driven from light into the realm of darkness and is banished from the world.He has no offspring or descendants among his people, no survivor where once he lived.People of the west are appalled at his fate; those of the east are seized with horror.Surely such is the dwelling of an evil man; such is the place of one who does not know God.”

So when God destroyed the cities of the plain, he remembered Abraham, and he brought Lot out of the catastrophe that overthrew the cities where Lot had lived.

Let the one who is wise heed these things and ponder the loving deeds of the Lord.

“ Here is the fate God allots to the wicked, the heritage a ruthless man receives from the Almighty:However many his children, their fate is the sword; his offspring will never have enough to eat.The plague will bury those who survive him, and their widows will not weep for them.Though he heaps up silver like dust and clothes like piles of clay,what he lays up the righteous will wear, and the innocent will divide his silver.The house he builds is like a moth’s cocoon, like a hut made by a watchman.He lies down wealthy, but will do so no more; when he opens his eyes, all is gone.Terrors overtake him like a flood; a tempest snatches him away in the night.The east wind carries him off, and he is gone; it sweeps him out of his place.It hurls itself against him without mercy as he flees headlong from its power.It claps its hands in derision and hisses him out of his place.”
