惡人心樂人禍、即良朋亦不矜恤、

The wicked crave evil; their neighbors get no mercy from them.

Sinful people long to do evil. They don’t show their neighbors any mercy.

The soul of the wicked desires evil; his neighbor finds no mercy in his eyes.

Evil people desire evil; their neighbors get no mercy from them.

A wicked person desires evil; he has no consideration for his neighbor.

For from within, out of the hearts of people, come the evil thoughts, acts of sexual immorality, thefts, murders, acts of adultery,deeds of greed, wickedness, deceit, indecent behavior, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness.

He plans wickedness on his bed; He sets himself on a path that is not good; He does not reject evil.

Behold, the pay of the laborers who mowed your fields, and which has been withheld by you, cries out against you; and the outcry of those who did the harvesting has reached the ears of the Lord of armies.You have lived for pleasure on the earth and lived luxuriously; you have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.You have condemned and put to death the righteous person; he offers you no resistance.

For a fool speaks nonsense, And his heart inclines toward wickedness: To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the Lord, To keep the hungry person unsatisfied And to withhold drink from the thirsty.As for a rogue, his weapons are evil; He devises wicked schemes To destroy the poor with slander, Even though the needy one speaks what is right.But the noble person devises noble plans; And by noble plans he stands.

Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they indeed craved them.

Ask your young men and they will tell you. Therefore let my young men find favor in your eyes, for we have come on a festive day. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world.

One who shuts his ear to the outcry of the poor Will also call out himself, and not be answered.

What is the source of quarrels and conflicts among you? Is the source not your pleasures that wage war in your body’s parts?You lust and do not have, so you commit murder. And you are envious and cannot obtain, so you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you do not ask.You ask and do not receive, because you ask with the wrong motives, so that you may spend what you request on your pleasures.You adulteresses, do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.Or do you think that the Scripture says to no purpose,“ He jealously desires the Spirit whom He has made to dwell in us”?

The wicked person desires the plunder of evil people, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.

It goes well for a person who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment.

He has given freely to the poor, His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted in honor.

Your tongue devises destruction, Like a sharp razor, you worker of deceit.You love evil more than good, Lies more than speaking what is right. Selah
