The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord that sheds light on one’s inmost being.

The spirit of a person is the lamp of the Lord. It lights up what is deep down inside them.

The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.

The Lord’s light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive.

But it is a spirit in man and the breath of the Almighty that give him understanding.

For the word of God is living and effective and sharper than any double-edged sword, penetrating as far as the separation of soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It is able to judge the ideas and thoughts of the heart.No creature is hidden from Him, but all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of Him to whom we must give an account.

Instead, we have renounced shameful secret things, not walking in deceit or distorting God’s message, but commending ourselves to every person’s conscience in God’s sight by an open display of the truth.But if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.For we are not proclaiming ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves because of Jesus.For God who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

They show that the work of the law is written on their hearts. Their consciences confirm this. Their competing thoughts will either accuse or excuse them

Then the Lord God formed the man out of the dust from the ground and breathed the breath of life into his nostrils, and the man became a living being.

This is how we will know we belong to the truth and will convince our conscience in His presence,even if our conscience condemns us, that God is greater than our conscience, and He knows all things.Dear friends, if our conscience doesn’t condemn us, we have confidence before God

Lashes and wounds purge away evil, and beatings cleanse the innermost parts.
