Do not say,“ I’ll pay you back for this wrong!” Wait for the Lord, and he will avenge you.

Don’t say,“ I’ll get even with you for the wrong you did to me!” Wait for the Lord, and he will make things right for you.

Do not say,“ I will repay evil”; wait for the Lord, and he will deliver you.

Don’t say,“ I will get even for this wrong.” Wait for the Lord to handle the matter.

Don’t say,“ I will avenge this evil!” Wait on the LORD, and he will rescue you.

Do not say,“ I will repay evil”; Wait for the Lord, and He will save you.

Do not say,“ I will recompense evil”; Wait for the Lord, and He will save you.

Say not thou, I will recompense evil: Wait for Jehovah, and he will save thee.

Don’t say,“ I will avenge this evil!” Wait on the Lord, and He will rescue you.

Say not thou, I will recompense evil;[ but] wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee.

Do not say,“ I will pay back evil!” Wait for the LORD, so that he may vindicate you.

Don’t say,“ I will pay back evil.” Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:“ It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else. (niv)

Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (niv)

Hope in the Lord and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are destroyed, you will see it. (niv)

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (niv)
