秉公義之理、保敬虔之士、

主保公義之路、護虔誠者之道、

for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

He guards the path of those who are honest. He watches over the way of his faithful ones.

The LORD protects those who love him, but he destroys all the wicked.

The law of their God controls their thinking; their feet do not slip.

I walk in the path of righteousness, in the pathway of justice,

You will say to the prisoners,‘ Come out,’ and to those who are in dark dungeons,‘ Emerge.’ They will graze beside the roads; on all the slopes they will find pasture.They will not be hungry or thirsty; the sun’s oppressive heat will not beat down on them, for one who has compassion on them will guide them; he will lead them to springs of water.

No lions will be there, no ferocious wild animals will be on it– they will not be found there. Those delivered from bondage will travel on it,

Surely he loves the people; all your holy ones are in your power. And they sit at your feet, each receiving your words.

The LORD grants success to the one whose behavior he finds commendable.Even if he trips, he will not fall headlong, for the LORD holds his hand.

I will make a lasting covenant with them that I will never stop doing good to them. I will fill their hearts and minds with respect for me so that they will never again turn away from me.I will take delight in doing good to them. I will faithfully and wholeheartedly plant them firmly in the land.’

Certainly the LORD guards the way of the godly, but the way of the wicked ends in destruction.

There is no one like God, O Jeshurun, who rides through the sky to help you, on the clouds in majesty.The everlasting God is a refuge, and underneath you are his eternal arms; he has driven out enemies before you, and has said,“ Destroy!”Israel lives in safety, the fountain of Jacob is quite secure, in a land of grain and new wine; indeed, its heavens rain down dew.You have joy, Israel! Who is like you? You are a people delivered by the LORD, your protective shield and your exalted sword. May your enemies cringe before you; may you trample on their backs.

My child, do not let them escape from your sight; safeguard sound wisdom and discretion.So they will give life to you, and grace to adorn your neck.Then you will walk on your way with security, and you will not stumble.When you lie down you will not be filled with fear; when you lie down your sleep will be pleasant.

For the LORD promotes justice, and never abandons his faithful followers. They are permanently secure, but the children of evil men are wiped out.

The LORD is your protector; the LORD is the shade at your right hand.The sun will not harm you by day, or the moon by night.The LORD will protect you from all harm; he will protect your life.The LORD will protect you in all you do, now and forevermore.
