and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure,

Look for it as you would look for silver. Search for it as you would search for hidden treasure.

Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures.

If you seek her as silver And search for her as for hidden treasures;

“ Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

Who long for death, but it does not come, And search for it more than hidden treasures;

Therefore I love Your commandments More than gold, yes, than fine gold!

Riches and honor are with me, Enduring riches and righteousness.My fruit is better than gold, yes, than fine gold, And my revenue than choice silver.

How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.

The law of Your mouth is better to me Than thousands of coins of gold and silver.

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.

Jesus said to him,“ If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.

There is one alone, without companion: He has neither son nor brother. Yet there is no end to all his labors, Nor is his eye satisfied with riches. But he never asks,“ For whom do I toil and deprive myself of good?” This also is vanity and a grave misfortune.

Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction and understanding.

So the master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly. For the sons of this world are more shrewd in their generation than the sons of light.

“ But where can wisdom be found? And where is the place of understanding?Man does not know its value, Nor is it found in the land of the living.The deep says,‘ It is not in me’; And the sea says,‘ It is not with me.’It cannot be purchased for gold, Nor can silver be weighed for its price.It cannot be valued in the gold of Ophir, In precious onyx or sapphire.Neither gold nor crystal can equal it, Nor can it be exchanged for jewelry of fine gold.No mention shall be made of coral or quartz, For the price of wisdom is above rubies.The topaz of Ethiopia cannot equal it, Nor can it be valued in pure gold.“ From where then does wisdom come? And where is the place of understanding?

“ Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal;but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

More to be desired are they than gold, Yea, than much fine gold; Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold.She is more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her.
