who forsake the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness,

那等人舍弃正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

他们离弃正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

那些人离弃正道，走上黑暗的道路。

那些人离弃正直的路途，走在黑暗的道路上；

那等人捨棄正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

他們離棄正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

他們捨棄正道，走上黑路，

那些人離棄正道，走上黑暗的道路。

那種人捨棄正直的路徑，去行黑暗的路；

那些人離棄正直的路途，走在黑暗的道路上；

若輩離乎正路、行於暗途、

彼離正道、行於幽暗、

彼離正直之道、欲行幽暗之路、

who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways,

Men like that have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways.

who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness,

These men turn from the right way to walk down dark paths.

from those who abandon the right paths to walk in ways of darkness,

From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;

From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;

Who forsake the paths of uprightness, To walk in the ways of darkness;

from those who abandon the right paths to walk in ways of darkness,

Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

who leave the upright paths to walk on the dark ways,

This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil.For everyone who does evil hates the light, and doesn’t come to the light, lest his works would be exposed.

The way of the wicked is like darkness. They don’t know what they stumble over.

The man who wanders out of the way of understanding shall rest in the assembly of the departed spirits.

For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.But it has happened to them according to the true proverb,“ The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and“ the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.”

“ These are of those who rebel against the light. They don’t know its ways, nor stay in its paths.The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy. In the night he is like a thief.The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying,‘ No eye will see me.’ He disguises his face.In the dark they dig through houses. They shut themselves up in the daytime. They don’t know the light.

There came a man, sent from God, whose name was John.

Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened.

For concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,and tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame.

When an unclean spirit has gone out of a man, he passes through waterless places, seeking rest, and doesn’t find it.Then he says,‘ I will return into my house from which I came out,’ and when he has come back, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.Then he goes, and takes with himself seven other spirits more evil than he is, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first. Even so will it be also to this evil generation.”

When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn’t know where it came from( but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroomand said to him,“ Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then that which is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!”This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

They have all gone aside. They have together become corrupt. There is no one who does good, no, not one.

They don’t know, neither do they understand. They walk back and forth in darkness. All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

“ You, son of man, tell the children of your people,‘ The righteousness of the righteous will not deliver him in the day of his disobedience. And as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not fall by it in the day that he turns from his wickedness; neither will he who is righteous be able to live by it in the day that he sins.When I tell the righteous that he will surely live; if he trusts in his righteousness, and commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but he will die in his iniquity that he has committed.

The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

When the righteous man turns away from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, and dies therein; in his iniquity that he has done he shall die.

Jesus therefore said to them,“ Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn’t overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn’t know where he is going.

those who have turned back from following Yahweh, and those who haven’t sought Yahweh nor inquired after him.

You are all children of light and children of the day. We don’t belong to the night, nor to darkness,so then let’s not sleep, as the rest do, but let’s watch and be sober.For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.
