From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;

那等人舍弃正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

他们离弃正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

那些人离弃正道，走上黑暗的道路。

那些人离弃正直的路途，走在黑暗的道路上；

那等人捨棄正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

他們離棄正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

他們離棄正直的路，行走黑暗的道，

他們捨棄正道，走上黑路，

那些人離棄正道，走上黑暗的道路。

那種人捨棄正直的路徑，去行黑暗的路；

那些人離棄正直的路途，走在黑暗的道路上；

若輩離乎正路、行於暗途、

彼離正道、行於幽暗、

彼離正直之道、欲行幽暗之路、

who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways,

Men like that have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways.

who forsake the paths of uprightness to walk in the ways of darkness,

These men turn from the right way to walk down dark paths.

from those who abandon the right paths to walk in ways of darkness,

From those who leave the paths of uprightness To walk in the ways of darkness;

Who forsake the paths of uprightness, To walk in the ways of darkness;

from those who abandon the right paths to walk in ways of darkness,

Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

who leave the upright paths to walk on the dark ways,

who forsake the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness,

And this is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the Light; for their deeds were evil.For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light, so that his deeds will not be exposed.

The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know over what they stumble.

A person who wanders from the way of understanding Will rest in the assembly of the dead.

For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.It has happened to them according to the true proverb,“ A dog returns to its own vomit,” and,“ A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire.”

“ Others have been with those who rebel against the light; They do not want to know its ways Nor stay in its paths.The murderer arises at dawn; He kills the poor and the needy, And at night he is like a thief.The eye of the adulterer watches for twilight, Saying,‘ No eye will see me.’ And he disguises his face.In the darkness they dig into houses, They shut themselves up by day; They do not know the light.

A man came, one sent from God, and his name was John.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened.

For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit,and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.

“ Now when the unclean spirit comes out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it.Then it says,‘ I will return to my house from which I came’; and when it comes, it finds it unoccupied, swept, and put in order.Then it goes and brings along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they come in and live there; and the last condition of that person becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation.”

Now when the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine, and did not know where it came from( but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter* called the groom,and* said to him,“ Every man serves the good wine first, and when the guests are drunk, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.”This beginning of His signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed His glory; and His disciples believed in Him.

They have all turned aside, together they are corrupt; There is no one who does good, not even one.

They do not know nor do they understand; They walk around in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

And you, son of man, say to your fellow citizens,‘ The righteousness of a righteous one will not save him on the day of his offense, and as for the wickedness of a wicked one, he will not stumble because of it on the day when he turns from his wickedness; whereas a righteous one will not be able to live by his righteousness on the day when he commits sin.’When I say to the righteous that he will certainly live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits injustice, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but for that same injustice of his which he has committed he will die.

The words of his mouth are wickedness and deceit; He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

When a righteous person turns away from his righteousness, commits injustice and dies because of it, for his injustice which he has committed he dies.

So Jesus said to them,“ For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; also, the one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.

And those who have turned back from following the Lord, And those who have not sought the Lord nor inquired of Him.”

for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness;so then, let’s not sleep as others do, but let’s be alert and sober.For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, get drunk at night.

for Demas, having loved this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.
