Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse,

Wisdom will save you from the ways of evil men. It will save you from men who twist their words.

delivering you from the way of evil, from men of perverted speech,

Wisdom will save you from evil people, from those whose words are twisted.

To rescue you from the way of evil, From a person who speaks perverse things;

To deliver you from the way of evil, From the man who speaks perverse things,

To deliver thee from the way of evil, From the men that speak perverse things;

rescuing you from the way of evil— from the one who says perverse things,

To deliver thee from the way of the evil[ man], from the man that speaketh froward things;

to deliver you from the way of the wicked, from those speaking perversity,

to deliver you from the way of evil, from the men who speak perverse things,

Do not be deceived:“ Bad company corrupts good morals.”

To fear the LORD is to hate evil. I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech.

Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord; do not touch any unclean thing, and I will welcome you.

The one who walks with the wise will become wise, but a companion of fools will suffer harm.

I do not sit with the worthless or associate with hypocrites.I hate a crowd of evildoers, and I do not sit with the wicked.

Concerning what people do: by the words from your lips I have avoided the ways of the violent.My steps are on your paths; my feet have not slipped.

A contrary person spreads conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.A violent person lures his neighbor, leading him on a path that is not good.The one who narrows his eyes is planning deceptions; the one who compresses his lips brings about evil.

Keep off the path of the wicked; don’t proceed on the way of evil ones.Avoid it; don’t travel on it. Turn away from it, and pass it by.For they can’t sleep unless they have done what is evil; they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.They eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.

for the devious are detestable to the LORD, but he is a friend to the upright.

Men will rise up even from your own number and distort the truth to lure the disciples into following them.

For your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers, with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, and your tongues mutter injustice.No one makes claims justly; no one pleads honestly. They trust in empty and worthless words; they conceive trouble and give birth to iniquity.They hatch viper’s eggs and weave spider’s webs. Whoever eats their eggs will die; crack one open, and a viper is hatched.

Leave inexperience behind, and you will live; pursue the way of understanding.

A devious heart will be far from me; I will not be involved with evil.

Do not let my heart turn to any evil thing or perform wicked acts with evildoers. Do not let me feast on their delicacies.

My son, if sinners entice you, don’t be persuaded.If they say—“ Come with us! Let’s set an ambush and kill someone. Let’s attack some innocent person just for fun!Let’s swallow them alive, like Sheol, whole, like those who go down to the Pit.We’ll find all kinds of valuable property and fill our houses with plunder.Throw in your lot with us, and we’ll all share the loot”—my son, don’t travel that road with them or set foot on their path,because their feet run toward evil and they hurry to shed blood.It is useless to spread a net where any bird can see it,but they set an ambush to kill themselves; they attack their own lives.Such are the paths of all who make profit dishonestly; it takes the lives of those who receive it.
