我儿啊，你如果停止听从管教，就会偏离知识的言语！

我兒，不可聽了教訓而又偏離知識的言語。

孩子啊，你若不聽教誨，就會偏離知識。

我兒，你若是停止聽受管教，就會偏離知識的言語。

弟子啊，停止不聽管教，停止偏差而離開知識之訓言哦。

我兒啊，你如果停止聽從管教，就會偏離知識的言語！

我子、聽訓而棄哲言、爾勿為此、

爾小子、有誘爾離道者、爾勿聽從。

我子、人所教爾者、如使爾棄哲言、切勿聽之、

Stop listening to instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

My son, if you stop listening to what I teach you, you will wander away from the words of knowledge.

Cease to hear instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

If you stop listening to instruction, my child, you will turn your back on knowledge.

If you stop listening to correction, my son, you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Stop listening, my son, to discipline, And you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Cease listening to instruction, my son, And you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Cease, my son, to hear instruction Only to err from the words of knowledge.

Suppose a prophet or one who foretells by dreams should appear among you and show you a sign or wonder,and the sign or wonder should come to pass concerning what he said to you, namely,“ Let us follow other gods”– gods whom you have not previously known–“ and let us serve them.”You must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer, for the LORD your God will be testing you to see if you love him with all your mind and being.You must follow the LORD your God and revere only him; and you must observe his commandments, obey him, serve him, and remain loyal to him.

And he said to them,“ Take care about what you hear. The measure you use will be the measure you receive, and more will be added to you.

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Leave the presence of a foolish person, or you will not understand wise counsel.

“ Watch out,” Jesus said to them,“ beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes.

“ Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are voracious wolves.

If someone spreads false teachings and does not agree with sound words( that is, those of our Lord Jesus Christ) and with the teaching that accords with godliness,he is conceited and understands nothing, but has an unhealthy interest in controversies and verbal disputes. This gives rise to envy, dissension, slanders, evil suspicions,and constant bickering by people corrupted in their minds and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a way of making a profit.

He replied,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ The LORD said,‘ Deceive and overpower him. Go out and do as you have proposed.’So now, look, the LORD has placed a lying spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours; but the LORD has decreed disaster for you.”Zedekiah son of Kenaanah approached, hit Micaiah on the jaw, and said,“ Which way did the LORD’s spirit go when he went from me to speak to you?”Micaiah replied,“ Look, you will see in the day when you go into an inner room to hide.”Then the king of Israel said,“ Take Micaiah and return him to Amon the city official and Joash the king’s son.Say,‘ This is what the king says,“ Put this man in prison. Give him only a little bread and water until I safely return.”’”Micaiah said,“ If you really do safely return, then the LORD has not spoken through me.” Then he added,“ Take note, all you people.”

But reject those myths fit only for the godless and gullible, and train yourself for godliness.

‘ I know your works as well as your labor and steadfast endurance, and that you cannot tolerate evil. You have even put to the test those who refer to themselves as apostles( but are not), and have discovered that they are false.

He said to them,“ Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written:‘ This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine the commandments of men.’Having no regard for the command of God, you hold fast to human tradition.”He also said to them,“ You neatly reject the commandment of God in order to set up your tradition.For Moses said,‘ Honor your father and your mother,’ and,‘ Whoever insults his father or mother must be put to death.’But you say that if anyone tells his father or mother,‘ Whatever help you would have received from me is corban’( that is, a gift for God),then you no longer permit him to do anything for his father or mother.Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like this.”Then he called the crowd again and said to them,“ Listen to me, everyone, and understand.

They will never follow a stranger, but will run away from him, because they do not recognize the stranger’s voice.”

For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.Therefore it is not surprising his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will correspond to their actions.

Then they understood that he had not told them to be on guard against the yeast in bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

But false prophets arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. These false teachers will infiltrate your midst with destructive heresies, even to the point of denying the Master who bought them. As a result, they will bring swift destruction on themselves.And many will follow their debauched lifestyles. Because of these false teachers, the way of truth will be slandered.
