少有財寶，敬畏耶和華，強如多有財寶，煩亂不安。

行為純正的義人，他的子孫是有福的！

我主不要理這壞人拿八，他的性情與他的名相稱；他名叫拿八，他為人果然愚頑。但我主所打發的僕人，婢女並沒有看見。

義人引導他的鄰舍；惡人的道叫人失迷。

我親愛的弟兄們，請聽，神豈不是揀選了世上的貧窮人，叫他們在信上富足，並承受他所應許給那些愛他之人的國嗎？你們反倒羞辱貧窮人。那富足人豈不是欺壓你們、拉你們到公堂去嗎？

人若賺得全世界，賠上自己的生命，有甚麼益處呢？人還能拿甚麼換生命呢？

所以你當籌劃，看怎樣行才好；不然，禍患定要臨到我主人和他全家。他性情凶暴，無人敢與他說話。」

行動正直的，敬畏耶和華；行事乖僻的，卻藐視他。

至於我，卻要行事純全；求你救贖我，憐恤我！

所以我告訴你們：「人一切的罪和褻瀆的話都可得赦免，惟獨褻瀆聖靈，總不得赦免。凡說話干犯人子的，還可得赦免；惟獨說話干犯聖靈的，今世來世總不得赦免。」「你們或以為樹好，果子也好；樹壞，果子也壞；因為看果子就可以知道樹。毒蛇的種類！你們既是惡人，怎能說出好話來呢？因為心裏所充滿的，口裏就說出來。

因你們的手被血沾染，你們的指頭被罪孽沾污，你們的嘴唇說謊言，你們的舌頭出惡語。

施行仁慈的，令人愛慕；窮人強如說謊言的。

他終日恩待人，借給人；他的後裔也蒙福！
