When the Lord takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them.

When the way you live pleases the Lord, he makes even your enemies live at peace with you.

When a man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them.

When a person’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.

That will please the LORD more than an ox or a bull with horns and hooves.

Meanwhile Saul, still breathing out threats to murder the Lord’s disciples, went to the high priestand requested letters from him to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any who belonged to the Way, either men or women, he could bring them as prisoners to Jerusalem.

and after taking some food, his strength returned. For several days he was with the disciples in Damascus,and immediately he began to proclaim Jesus in the synagogues, saying,“ This man is the Son of God.”

For I have received everything, and I have plenty. I have all I need because I received from Epaphroditus what you sent– a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, very pleasing to God.
