Whoever winks with their eye is planning to do wrong. Whoever closes their lips tightly is up to no good.

恶人眯起眼睛图谋不轨，歹徒咬着嘴唇策划恶事。

瞇着眼睛的，图谋乖谬的事；紧抿着嘴唇的，作成恶事。

眯缝眼睛的，谋算荒谬；紧抿嘴唇的，做成恶事。

眼目緊合的，圖謀乖僻；嘴唇緊閉的，成就邪惡。

緊閉雙目的，圖謀乖謬；緊咬嘴唇的，成就惡事。

緊閉雙目的，圖謀乖謬；緊咬嘴唇的，成就惡事。

惡人眯起眼睛圖謀不軌，歹徒咬著嘴唇策劃惡事。

瞇著眼睛的，圖謀乖謬的事；緊抿著嘴唇的，作成惡事。

眼目緊合着的、圖謀着乖張；嘴脣緊閉着的、作成了壞事。

眯縫眼睛的，謀算荒謬；緊抿嘴唇的，做成惡事。

合眸者圖乖僻、閉脣者成邪惡、

彼將作惡、皺眉以運謀、切齒而決計。

合目以圖奸計、閉唇以決惡謀、

Whoever winks with their eye is plotting perversity; whoever purses their lips is bent on evil.

Whoever winks his eyes plans dishonest things; he who purses his lips brings evil to pass.

With narrowed eyes, people plot evil; with a smirk, they plan their mischief.

The one who narrows his eyes is planning deceptions; the one who compresses his lips brings about evil.

He who winks his eyes does so to devise perverse things; He who compresses his lips brings evil to pass.

He winks his eye to devise perverse things; He purses his lips and brings about evil.

He that shutteth his eyes, it is to devise perverse things: He that compresseth his lips bringeth evil to pass.

The one who narrows his eyes is planning deceptions; the one who compresses his lips brings about evil.

He shutteth his eyes to devise froward things: moving his lips he bringeth evil to pass.

The one who winks his eyes devises perverse things, and one who compresses his lips brings about evil.

One who winks his eyes to plot perversities, one who compresses his lips, is bent on evil.

Make the hearts of these people stubborn. Plug up their ears. Close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes. They might hear with their ears. They might understand with their hearts. And they might turn to me and be healed.”

“ Why? What wrong has he done?” asked Pilate. But they shouted even louder,“ Crucify him!”Pilate saw that he wasn’t getting anywhere. Instead, the crowd was starting to get angry. So he took water and washed his hands in front of them.“ I am not guilty of this man’s death,” he said.“ You are accountable for that!”All the people answered,“ Put the blame for his death on us and our children!”Pilate let Barabbas go free. But he had Jesus whipped. Then he handed him over to be nailed to a cross.

So he promised to give her anything she asked for.Her mother told her what to say. So the girl said to Herod,“ Give me the head of John the Baptist on a big plate.”

A worthless person plans to do evil things. Their words are like a burning fire.

They are very good at doing what is evil. Rulers require gifts. Judges accept money from people who want special favors. Those who are powerful always get what they want. All of them make evil plans together.

An evil troublemaker goes around saying twisted things with his mouth.He winks with his eyes. He makes signals with his feet. He motions with his fingers.His plans are evil, and he has lies in his heart. He is always stirring up fights.

The hearts of these people have become stubborn. They can barely hear with their ears. They have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes. They might hear with their ears. They might understand with their hearts. They might turn to the Lord, and then he would heal them.’( Isaiah 6:9, 10)

Everyone who does evil deeds hates the light. They will not come into the light. They are afraid that what they do will be seen.

An evil wink gets you into trouble. And foolish chattering destroys you.
